A lot of changes have been happening in our household lately with a new baby on the way, and sometimes I have to remind myself that even though it’s a big change for us, it has to feel like an even bigger change for Alex. He is use to being the only child, and now he won’t be. He is use to having mommy’s undivided attention, but now mommy needs extra rest. A lot of things are different already, and the change will become even greater once the baby arrives. So I sat down and began to call around and ask friends and family about different ways they prepared their child/children for a new baby and I came across some pretty good strategies which I put to use. Hey guys, so happy to be back to finally give you all another installment of my fashionista Friday picks… Lately I have been trying to think of new things to bring to this segment and I have now decided that at the end of my picks I’m going to start doing a spotlight on whatever fashionista mama has caught my eye for the week. So let’s get started:
Pastel colors are totally in for the fall and winter seasons this year, looking positively fabulous in their softer, more muted hues that really bring out the definition of winter.
Would you believe me if I told you that right now I am locked away inside our office hiding while my 2-year-old is running around the house in his “spider man undies” screaming my name to the top of his lungs, crying about a broken flute. Everybody pray for me! I am dealing with a miniature bully!
We got our first family dog “Sassy” for “little man’s” first birthday and now almost 2 years later they are the best of friends, but every once in a while I see my son hitting the poor dog… Ugh let me stop lying I see him hitting or pinching her EVERYDAY!!! Every year since “little man” was born we have started going to the pumpkin patch, and up until that point I had never even been to one, so this was definitely a yearly tradition my family and I started. Usually we went to one specific pumpkin patch in Virginia that was perfect, but now since we’ve move to Georgia we had to find another one. We ended up stumbling across a little farm in Carrollton GA that was the absolute cutest thing ever. Old Mcdermitt’s Farm had so much to offer.
For the first time ever my family and I got completely LOST in a 4 acre corn maze!! It was awesome until we really could not get out. Lucky a worker came along and rescued us. The whole time “little man” wanted to lead the way.
