My 900th Month of Pregnancy

Finally I made it to my 9th month of pregnancy! Although it feels more like my 900th month, I know that I’m very thankful and blessed to have made it this far with no real complications other than not being able to fit into my clothes anymore and having to resort to my husband’s side of the closet.

Preparing Alex for Baby #2

A lot of changes have been happening in our household lately with a new baby on the way, and sometimes I have to remind myself that even though it’s a big change for us, it has to feel like an even bigger change for Alex. My first trimester was very difficult. On top of me losing weight from my morning sickness, I also had a hard time keeping food down due to my severe food aversions. I dealt with frequent heartburn, I hated the way everything smelt, and on top of that I’ve felt like my “Bitch Switch” had been turned up from 3 to 10. So long story short most of my days were spent laying in the bed nauseous, tired, irritated, and exhausted. Continue reading
